Jujube with first daughter LacyFern

Jujube  was a lovely surprise, a cool chocolate cou claire out of a gold sire and a buckskin dam!   Fortunately this recessive coat pattern is strong in Axel's genetics, passed to him from his sire, Enchanted Hill Toby, and appearing in many Axel kids.  At the time we acquired Toby,  Judge Ed Kinser assured us that his dam had the best udder in the Enchanted Hill herd.   We shared Toby with Barbara Knapp of Buckhorn Run Farm, where Axel was born.   Axel's dam & Jujube's dam were littermates, making this a very high quality linebreeding full of champions with exceptional conformation and udders.

Jujube's gold littermate, Jasmine Tea, earned her 3*M on all components this summer at Drovers Croft with Barclay MacCauley.   Jujube is expecting to go on milk test in summer 2020.
